Florida CAN Legal Support

A network of expert attorneys is available to take medical marijuana, First Amendment, and civil cases. Aggressive attorneys are available to defend you on illegal searches, assets seizures and offenses involving drug possession or accusations of sales.  Fees vary depending on the nature of the charges and the specific issues of interest being challenged.  FL CAN does not provide free attorneys.  In most cases we recommend working with a public defender by using the techniques laid out in our publication "Making your Attorney Work for You"

Ideally, you will never require the services of our legal support network. If you have not been arrested see our Legal Tips page for general legal advice on how to avoid the threat of arrest.

If you find yourself charged with a drug related offense contact the Legal Support Network at 321-726-6656 or 321-253-3673 or by email.

You will be asked to draw up a chronological statement of events, while the events are fresh in your mind. It is always best to do this as soon after your arrest as possible, not only will it keep the facts straight in your mind, but will greatly reduce the amount of time it will take for us to help you.

Some questions which you may ask about your encounter with law enforcement are:

Was the traffic stop legal?
When do police have the right to detain you?
When is there probable cause for searching your vehicle?
Was the search warrant legally obtained?
How low can helicopters fly over property?
Was the informant legally reliable?
Do you need a permit for public demonstrations or festivals?
Do you have a medical marijuana defense?
Can and how do you sue the police or government?
What is paraphernalia?
Is evidence against you admissible in court?
Is your drug test legal and accurate?
What is entrapment?
When can law enforcement seize property or cash?
